Yanzi @ BCH & CSS2

Really packed Saturday I had! After doing as much work as I can do for SP3, I headed to Millenia Walk for BCH! Wah! The time I reached was really good for suntanning. Some of us started playing a game which they played during one of the previous FC outings (but I didn’t went). The game tests your memory and how fast you react. LOLx, I’m wols, and Joselyn so poor thing, kenna “bullied” by us. =X Then, I deliberately stayed under the hot sun for two hours till about 2pm, when it started raining. ZzZ…

After the rain, the 5?1 Lamer5 went to KouFu for ice kacang and a crapping session. =X There’s a joke, which I clearly rememember, by Joyce. We were all discussing about NDP songs, and conclude that HO-ly crap will never get to sing in future years, because she can only say, “I love God”. Then Joyce suddenly said, “Wah! She’s from Mavis Hee’s FC ah?” (Yup, we call Mavis - God.) =X It’s a bit “religious”, so I hope I don’t offended anyone. T_T

After more waiting, those who won the VIP tickets were allowed to enter to the front first. Ade won 2 pairs, and gave 3 of the tickets to YL Toh, Kaishun and I. Woohoo! Thanks a lot, Ade! =D

MLB was the first to perform three songs - [?], [??] and [Get Alive]. Unfortunately, something cropped up (power trip, I think) and they only sang [?] halfway. So sad~ So sad~ (Perhaps they should sing this song instead.) There goes my favourite song from their album! =( Luckily the rest of their live performance made up for it.

Next performer was Diya, who sang JJ’s [??], Fang Da Tong’s [???] and Gary’s [??]. Followed on by Ting Zhu. Her live singing was not bad, but I have no impression of her songs at all, except for a repetitive phrase in one of the songs which really annoyed me. ZzZ!

Then came Wu Jiahui with his song from 881 OST, [??????], and his composition which was included in [Stefanie] album, [????]! Both songs unplugged, with Eric Ng and himself playing the guitars.

Finally, the long-awaited moment arrived! Yanzi came up to perform the duet version of [????] with Wu Jiahui. So nice~

After the song, the hosts came up and talked about SHA with Yanzi. That was when she announced that she’s giving up the “Best Local Singer” award to let others have a chance, because she has won it for five consecutive years *emphasize*. All of us groaned and whined, cos it was a really very shocking and saddening. I guess we did took some time to accept it, afterall she has very good reasons. We should feel proud of her instead of being sad. She’s so ?? can! We all know that she’s the Best Local Singer in our hearts long ago! =)

(To those who say her ??, got motive or whatever stupid assumptions you can think of…*points finger*) =X

Anyway she sang [????] and [??]. When she started singing [??], there was quite a strong gust of wind blowing at her, making her dress flew up and almost zao geng! We were all LOL and kept signalling to her about her dress. This aunty was so slow to realize that (she still gave us a very puzzled look), and when she finally knew what we were referring to, she quickly pressed her dress down. Wahahaha! So cute!

After BCH ended, the Xin.Sg reporter wanted to interview some of us, about Yanzi’s decision. After interviewing Aud, I quickly siam-ed away, and the reported shouted, “Hey! ???????!” *paisey* Then, we rushed to the bus the committee chartered and headed for CSS recording. (Woohoo! No need take taxi! =X ) Felt like a school excursion, except that everyone was quiet, maybe because they were tired or conserving energy for CSS.

We were let into the studio, standing at the last row. I was quite sleepy when listening to the finalists singing. =X Only whenever the hosts said “???”, all of us screamed our lungs out, so loud that the audience had to cover their ears! *chua tio* =D

At last…Yanzi appeared at about 10.30pm, with a new set of clothes, singing [??] and [????]. LOLx, all of us became very high again. I remember when there was a “OH!~~~~~~” just before the last chorus of [??], we were singing extremely loudly, then some of the audience turned around and laughed at us. xD

Before heading home, as usual, we formed one line along the road outside the radio gate, waiting for her van to come out, preparing for the queen’s departure! =X Her van did came out after quite a while, and all of us waved to the van although we couldn’t exactly see where she was sitting because it was very dark. But I saw a skinny hand waving! =X

Really tiring but fun experience. =D After this day, I think we just love Yanzi even MORE! *salutes*

Please pray hard for me that I’ll be able to go to SHA, because the event falls on a very important day of mine. *cries*
